LaShone Wilson
MA, E-RYT 500, YACEP
Founder | National Certified Health and Wellness Coach | Movement & Mindfulness Educator

LaShone Wilson is a National Certified Health and Wellness Coach with a Master’s degree in Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching. With over 16 years of experience in yoga, mindfulness, and holistic wellness, she is also a certified Bikram Yoga Teacher, Certified Halotherapy Specialist (salt therapy), reflexologist, and Block Therapist.

She has developed a dynamic and integrative approach to wellness that blends evidence-based coaching, emotional intelligence, and embodied practices to support sustainable, whole-person transformation. Her work is rooted in the belief that true wellness must address the mental, emotional, physical, and social aspects of our lives.

LaShone serves as a conduit for community and social wellness, partnering with schools, organizations, and businesses to embed well-being into the fabric of everyday culture. Her programs are designed to foster connection, clarity, and resilience in both individuals and groups.

Often referred to as “The Children’s Whisperer,” LaShone has shared yoga and mindfulness with hundreds of children each week. She is the creator of Reading is Yogamental™, a nontraditional, movement-based literacy method that teaches children to read using breath, rhythm, and body awareness.

Her work is grounded in lived experience, professional training, and a deep commitment to making wellness not only accessible—but meaningful, empowering, and rooted in real life.

Alba Nagurney

Alba is a passionate yoga instructor, published author, and dedicated healthcare professional with over a decade of teaching experience throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

Originally from El Salvador, Alba holds a medical degree and an International Master’s in Public Health. She currently works as a medical laboratory technician in Maryland, where she continues to integrate her knowledge of health and wellness into her teaching.

In 2024, Alba released her first book, a reflection of her commitment to personal growth and mindful living. Outside the studio, she enjoys cooking for her family and expressing herself through art.
